Charging speed and flexibility:

Lithium batteries use fast charging technology, charging from 10% to 100% in just 2 hours, while lead-acid batteries take 8-10 hours. Lithium batteries support random charging, without the need for a fixed time cycle, and do not affect battery life, making them suitable for multi-shift operations. ‌

Life and reliability:

The cycle life of lithium batteries is as high as more than 4,000 times (about 24,000 hours). In actual use, even after 4,000 cycles, the capacity remains above 65%. Lead-acid batteries only have 1,200 cycles (about 6,000 hours), and the capacity is less than 50% after 1,200 uses. ‌

Performance and temperature adaptability:

Lithium batteries maintain stable discharge performance in an environment of -20°C to 60°C, and the discharge efficiency at low temperature (-20°C) is still 80%-90%, while the low temperature efficiency of lead-acid batteries is less than 30%. ‌

Maintenance cost:

Lithium batteries are maintenance-free and pollution-free, and long-term use can reduce operating costs. Lead-acid batteries require regular maintenance such as checking the electrolyte and adding distilled water, and there are environmental pollution treatment costs. ‌

Safety:

Using flame-retardant material shell and built-in BMS system (to prevent overcharging, short circuit, etc.), the safety is better than lead-acid batteries.
